Processor temperature should be set at 2 degrees above melting temperature. With low melting paraffin as you have, it has the advantage of lesser heat-damage to tissue. But I personally think 60°C are ok and you have the advantage of more soluble paraffin for a better infiltration. There is no damage of paraffin at that temperature and in the usual duration of use.
Which temperature are you using now? Gudrun -----Ursprüngliche Nachricht----- Von: Johanna Haddock via Histonet [mailto:histonet@lists.utsouthwestern.edu] Gesendet: Donnerstag, 26. An external inspector pointed this out. Thanks, Johanna _______________________________________________ Histonet mailing list Histonet@lists.utsouthwestern.edu http://lists.utsouthwestern.edu/mailman/listinfo/histonet _______________________________________________ Histonet mailing list Histonet@lists.utsouthwestern.edu http://lists.utsouthwestern.edu/mailman/listinfo/histonet
