Out of interest its not actually the ORIGINAL Halda although obviously identical to one that was there. I know because Eric Wrixon who had the car in Ireland charmed me out of one I had for peanuts many years ago!! Together with a Lucas rooflight. Geoff

Hi all - if anyone is interested I have WGV 287 which is the 4th car built that year by Reliant alongside 648 to 650 GUE for Graham P Warner, the Bury St Edmonds dealer. Graham did the RAC rally and the Monte Carlo starting from Minsk with the car. Featured in Don Pithers book on Reliants. The car is whole following a part restoration in Ireland 10ish years ago but in my view needs taking apart and putting back together again properly with fresh paint and trim. Many many spares and pretty much complete (plus lots of other parts) - even the original metal cased twinmaster on the dash. Too much to list. Lots of work required, but a mega car. Im considering selling the car (plus absolutely all the spares that come with it) this winter as I have another Triumph TR4 project which is likely to take up all of my time and money if it turns out to be genuine - id rather it went to a rally man soon than through auction in 2007 so please get in touch if you are interested.
