Raghu, thanks for your work on 438. In the short term, we're planning to
implement the MQO prototype using multiple Drivers embedded directly in a
client program. That means there's no short-term dependency on getting this
ticket resolved. I should have the cycles to look at this in ~2 weeks -- but if
someone else would like to do it first, by all means go ahead.
