Nice..
I have one suggestion. I think better than extending describe extended it is
better to fold this into show table status as Hao had suggested. The reason is
more of an edge case for folks who may be running the hadoop in the cloud but
have a local metastore will see errors in case their cluster is not up.
Thoughts?
