Type: Improvement
Status: Open

Environment: Windows XP, Eclipse 3.0, Sun J2SDK1.3.1_12
Description:
Since BeanFactory is typically used to help adapt legacy systems it is useful
to be able to poll for existence of Beans in BeanFactory. An example use case
is to poll against BeanFactory and failing that try your legacy factory.
Attached you will find a patch that adds a "contains" method to BeanFactory,
the appropriate implementation and unit tests.
Regards,
Naresh
