(Sorry, because sending email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] can not make me subscribe,
so i post it here)
XML has a header line like this:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="gb2312" ?>
so that the encoding method of configuration file can be specified. In my
environment, I can use this feature, to put Chinese character into
configuration files freely, as long as the encoding is specified as "gb2312" or
"GBK".
But, SDL is merely a kind of ASCII file in nature (much like .properties file),
so, only ASCII character can be used inside SDL file.
So, I wish this difference is noticed, and XML format will be supported forever
:-)
