How about supporting "aliases" to the new names? Perhaps even an indicator that aliases may or may not be deprecated? Something like:
<service-point id="BuilderFactory" refid="DefaultBuilder" deprecated="true"/> It is understood that this is still pre 1.0 but aliases would be a valuable enhancement regardless. Thanks.
