descriptor goes in the META-INF folder

That's what I through (and I had some trouble at the beginning with the descriptor), but
- the jar is on the classpath (I'm able to instantiate the class directly via) - I use the same descriptor file that works in the same jar
Let me ask you a dumb question: where does the desciptor go? I tried to use only one in the calling application, didn't work. I also tried to use one in the calling application and on in the jar (only specifiying the service point).
What's the right way?

This usually happens when either:
- the jar cannot be found on the class-path - the descriptor doesn't define the module 'mypackage.test' - the descriptor can't be parsed for whatever reason
Any other error being reported when creating the registry?

I would like to use a service/implementation packed in a jar from a simple test class. The same simple test class works fine in the jar with the service interface and implementation itself. I tried all kinds of stuff, but nothing works. I always get something like
