Shing, Thank you for pointing this out. There is actually no bean translator. I think the reference in the documentation is before the days of the object providers. We will look into removing that reference.
You'd now instead use the "object" translator with the "bean" object provider. Take a look at http://jakarta.apache.org/hivemind/hivemind/ObjectProviders.html for details.
