Running the demos from source

I’m trying to get cranking on HiveMind, but it seems something might be broken.   I downloaded HiveMind-1.1.1.zip and exploded it, ran Ant, it build itself and passed all the tests.   However, then I “cd”d into the examples directory and ran Ant. Also good.   But when I try to run the examples themselves (e.g. “ant run-calculator”) I get a ClassNotFoundException.
