Salaam...
I agree. Christians in the US get very upset when liberals talk of the
"separation of church and state", yet isn't this really talking about
the same thing : "render unto Ceasar...."? I agree with you that one's
religion should inform ALL aspects of life..not just the inner,
spiritual realm....but politics, economics etc. This is another reason
I chose Islam....it's holistic.
Also...you brought another interesting verse to my attention. I am
going to re-read the entire surah now :)
