I found a new WWW service for delivering web pages by e-mail.
The domain was created on 20Sep99 and is called web2mail and is located
in London, UK.
These excerpts are from their web pages:
"Web2mail is a new service designed to make your life easier. Use
web2mail to have your favorite web pages delivered by email whenever
they change. By using web2mail, you don't need to keep checking web
pages to see if they've been updated - we watch the web so you don't
have to. "
"We deliver web pages to you by email for free. Just choose any web page
you like. We will deliver your chosen page(s) whenever you like - direct
to your inbox as email attachments. Please remember that we deliver web
pages, not web sites. You are free to subscribe to as many web pages as
you like."

Advanced form allows watch words and images to be downloaded:

"When you subscribe to a page, you have the option to list some words
that interest you. We call these WatchWords. We will only mail the page
to you if it contains at least one of your WatchWords.
For example, you could choose to receive a jobs page only if it
contained words about your particular skills, or a sports page only if
it mentioned your favorite sports. The WatchWords for a soccer fan might
be "Manchester soccer football".
Use WatchWords to filter the web - so you only read what you want to
read."
The image selection criteria has two choices:
1) Download from the web (fast)
2) Include in my messages (slow)
These forms contains Javascript, use a POST action and other things, so
I'd guess that it would be best to try a www4mail server when filling
out the subscription forms.
NOTE: These forms requires you to specify a delivery schedule. So this
site should ONLY be used when you want to receive a web page on some
type of schedule, say a daily newspaper or a monthly magazine or ...
ADDENDA: Something I neglected to mention is that you can use this server to
retrieve web pages immediately without subscribing. You can also get web
pages with images!!!.
