Cash and documents stolen from PAS office
KUALA LUMPUR: Thieves broke into PAS' four-storey
building in Jalan Pahang
over the weekend and ransacked the place, including
the office of PAS
president Datuk Fadzil Noor.
It is learnt that cash amounting to about RM800 and
several important
documents were taken from the office.
MP for Kuala Terengganu Syed Azman Syed Ahmad Nawawi
said it was the
second time the building was broken into.
He said that early last month, thieves gained access
to the second floor of the
building, where offices for the party's in-house
publications were located, and
took away some cash.
Syed Azman said the break-in was discovered by one of
their members early
Monday.
He said a police report had been lodged and the party
was leaving the matter to
the police to investigate.
Sentul Deputy OCPD Supt Osman Abu Bakar confirmed the
incident, adding
that police were investigating.
