PAS : KE ARAH PEMERINTAHAN ISLAM YANG ADIL
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Adakah DS Tajol Rosli juga secara tak langsung cuba memperingat akan hal
sama kepada MT umno?
PM dah berusia 75 tahun...
sudah pun melebihi had umur purata rakyat Malaysia...
Kebanyakan orang melayu Malaysia bila mencecah 65 keatas...
biasanya dah mengalami banyak masalah; nyanyuk, banyak penyakit, keuzuran...
Dah elok sangat kalau lebih tumpukan kepada amal-ibadah...
Dan kalau diperhatikan ucapan-ucapan PM akhir-akhir ini, seringkali dia
terlupa atau terpaksa berfikir untuk mencari perkataan dan terpaksa
diingatkan dari belakang...
Make way for new blood, says Tajol Rosli
IPOH: Perak Umno chief Datuk Seri Mohd Tajol Rosli Ghazali said the party
needed "new blood'' and urged older leaders to make way for the young in
next year's division elections.
He said older leaders should not hinder younger aspirants, who could help
the party become stronger.
Tajol Rosli said incumbent division leaders and those wishing to contest
should discuss compromises that would benefit both parties.
"If there is stiff competition, it could create tension and cause a rift in
the party,'' he told reporters after chairing the state Umno liaison
committee meeting here on Saturday.
On speculations that there would be contests in the Bagan Serai and Gopeng
divisions, he said he anticipated that "there would be one or two contests
in Perak.''
Deputy Home Minister Datuk Zainal Abidin Zin, who is a Bagan Serai division
committee member, is said to be interested in the division chief's post now
held by Datuk Qamaruzzaman Ismail.
In Gopeng, incumbent division head Mustapha Kamal Nawi is expected to face a
challenge from committee member Datuk Abdul Aziz Samsudin, who is Deputy
Education Minister.
Tajol Rosli said it was "highly unlikely'' that the Perak state executive
line-up would be affected should there be changes in the top Umno division
posts.
On the position of a Perak exco member currently under investigation by the
Anti-Corruption Agency for alleged abuse of power, Tajol Rosli said he was
still waiting for the agency's report.
He said there was no reason to ask the exco member concerned to go on leave
pending the investigation.
