It is
similar, that information war in Afghanistan is in its climax. In this case,
western alliance actively uses all its information channels, which completely
passed to frank propaganda and information diversions, to aside after
forgetting about lauded western objectivity and non-prejudgment. All methods
are permitted in the fight against Moslem enemy, is counted today by majority
of journalists of western agencies and television channels. The classical
example to this position is situation around Kunduz
and Kandahar.
Through
several hours after armed opposition entered into Kabul abandoned by Taliban, practically all more or less
popular western TV stations and agencies began to excitedly report that Mullah Omar escaped from Kandahar to Pakistan. In the city itself
allegedly occurred uprising, and local Pashtun took
it. It reported about fall of Kandahar airport and, that Mullah Omar conducts negotiations about handover
of city to tribal leaders. Then appeared assertions on the actual transfer of
authority from Mullah Omar to certain two authoritative Pashtun commanders. This entire disinformation was
transmitted on all possible information channels from their sources in Pakistan. Several days passed. It became
clear that information diversion did not achieve its goal.
Similar situation occurred
also around Kunduz. During the week CNN and other
western sources continuously sounded ultimatum of Northern Alliance to the troop grouping of Afghan mujahideen, which were concentrated in Kunduz. Then appeared reports about negotiations, which
allegedly were conducted by Taliban in the hope of preserving their
lives, after being returned into captivity. It was explained in consequence
that no one intended to surrender into captivity and fierce fighting
continues in Kunduz.
As if on command from top in
common propagandistic chorus of western information services began to sound
Chechen topic. First about Chechen fighters in Kunduz
addressed Hindu correspondent of CNN, who in his each reporting separately
emphasized that the most furious resistance to Northern Alliance is rendered precisely Chechens. Then
special-propaganda went in the course. For the brightest confirmation of the
picture of Chechens, who battle against Americans in Afghanistan, classical trick was devised -
fantastic story about Chechen - drowned men was aired in communication. By
this simple method specialists of CNN simply drew the attention of residents
to �Chechen fighters� and they put off �picture – enemy� in their
memory.
And it is not important that
neither Americans nor opposition can represent even one Chechen as the proofs
of participation of hundreds and thousands of Chechen fighters in the war in Afghanistan. It is important fact that neglected
duck began to work. And secretary general of NATO before the trip to Moscow declares about comprehending the
�fact� of connections of Chechen fighters for their freedom with so-called
international terrorism. But Englishmen on the fast hand fixed certain
journalistic investigation on connections of Barayev
with Ben Laden, from whom Chechen commander
allegedly obtained fantastic sum in 30 million dollars for the murder of four
colleagues of British special services in Chechnya.
�Journalistic investigation�
appeared into accurate propagandistic campaign about participation of
Chechens in the war in Afghanistan. The hypertrophied sum of Ben Laden pay to Barayev
is not by chance. 30 million dollars play the same role, as the report about
drowning of Chechens. Here acts the classical rule of all propagandistic
special trick - the more monstrous is the lie, the
easier to believe in it. But even if they will not believe, this is not
important. Nevertheless at subconscious level remains necessary image,
because of its fantastic plot.
Since the beginning of the war
against Afghanistan, monstrous on its possibilities of
western propagandistic machinery clearly failed because of the only one TV channel �Al-Jazeera�, which conveyed reports of its correspondent from Kabul about the real situation in the
country and sufferings of innocent civilians. After bombing of the TV cabinet
of �Al-Jazeera� with �accidental� rocket, Americans attempted to liquidate the
threat of information defeat. Furthermore, special agreement between USA and England created certain coordination
information center of forces of so-called �anti-terrorist alliance� with
center in London and staff office in Islamabad. Known English political expert, who
ensured victory to Tony Blair in the last elections in Great Britain, headed this center. As is evident
from example of Chechen - drowned men, propagandistic center of the western
alliance began actively to act.
