LONDON (Special Report): The English Journalist Yvonnee Ridley who was
held by the Taliban in Afghanistan
last September, disclosed that Western intelligence agencies tried to
murder her in order to gain public
support on the agenda of air strikes against Afghanistan. The 43 year
old British Journalist wrote in her book,
"IN THE HANDS OF THE TALIBAN", that the Taliban arrested her on 28th
September 2001 and freed her on
8 October 2001. During this period the Western intelligence agencies
prepared a plan to murder her in order
to create a cause for strikes against Afghanistan but they were not
successful in their plot. Ridley disclosed
that she had plenty of proof related to this plot which she had gatherd
with the aid of an Al-Jazeera
television reporter. She said that these documents will soon be brought
out in public.
