Assalamu'alaikum my dear friends and colleagues,
Oct 3 is approaching much faster for adik Mohd Ridzuan than we realise. I
try to read the news, but I could never finish it without tears in my eyes
and in my heart. My body shivers whenever I read kak Shima's plight. It
reminds me of my own terror and sleepless nights I had when my
two-month-old baby was admitted to ICU for a week.
In the name of sympathy, I'm soliciting your kindness to extent some
financial support for adik Mohd Ridzuan. He needs RM50,000 for the bone
marrow transplant operation, but the family only manage to gather RM7,000
so far. Let's imagine if he is one of our close relatives. A few ringgits
that we donate to adik Mohd Ridzuan can be so meaningful to him and his
family. That few ringgits of our donation can bring renewed life to adik
Mohd Ridzuan.
Please don't punish them because they are not celebrity.
We have 2 options to channel our donation. The easiest for Maybank account
holders is to transfers your money through maybank 2U or ATM machine to Bro
Norazizan's acct. And pls inform him of the transaction.
2nd is to bank in to Adik Mohd Ridzuan's father's acct.
The next best thing for you to do is to extend this plight to as many
people as possible. May our little effort will be rewarded with good deeds.

Some may have heard that my son was dignosed of having leukemia in May
2002. He was 18mths then. Since then he has and is under-going chemoteraphy
treatment in UH - So far, ALHAMDULILLAH, he is progressing extremely well -
he is currently under "maintenance stage" which going to continue for the
next 1+ years.
This donation request is not for my son, Naqib, but rather for his friend
whom we came to know while Naqib was being treated at UH - he is Mohamad
Ridzuan, 13 years old from Pokok Sena, Kedah.
FYI, Ridzuan has just lost his brother (M Rizal, 15 yrs) last month due to
the same sickness, Leukemia - both were being treated at UH for the past 4
mths - both were sitting next to Naqib while Naqib was hospitalised for
about 9 days - we came very close to the family, esp the boys.
Ridzuan is in URGENT need of RM50K to undergo bone marrow transplant to
SAVE his life - the request was made via Utusan M'sia (front page) on 27th
Sept 02.
Ridzuan is currently being treated in Hospital Alor Setar as the family can
no longer afford to have him in UH.
On behalf of Ridzuan, my son's friend, I'm asking for your kindness and
support to help towards saving Ridzuan's life - this is really a matter of
life and death, thus I'm praying to Allah that we will have the strength to
donate as much as possible to save the boy.
We need to do this urgently and quickly - by this coming Thursday, 3rd Oct
2002.
