I could not find the class functions for the date widget. On my development box, running debian, the date widget shows the date as #dd/mm/yy#; if I then use the widget to update a date field in a grid the update fails because of invalid format. The same code on a user box, Ubuntu, has the date as dd/mm/yy and executes ok.
