FWIW, I have spent today making some progress with a KDE4 app that accesses my tables and can display them, add to them, delete lines, do queries etc.
I need to be able to use hk_classes to be able to reuse my Python scripts and it only accesses mysql databases. It's a very basic step because I need to figure out how I would make so people could create their own forms and all sorts of other stuff. One thing I don't like about knoda is how a clueless user could really screw up the tables and forms. I would make it so that an administrator is the only one who could do that, and he would have to be in a creator part of the program that the user could not access.
