I have just run it on LinuxMint lmde2 (jessie 64) and I attach
the new errors list.
Many of the file errors *.ioT have moved and the bulk are no
longer in hk_dbaseclasses
We are definitely getting closer!
I will go away and try and understand your patch and see whether
I can improve it at all.

mysql_driver_084.patch gives a clean error free compile.
Over the next week or two I will endeavour to produce a .deb package and
then go on with getting CMake to work.
