It probably makes sense to have the 0.5.1 release in the repo hosted on
HAPI's sourceforge site.

I've uploaded a 0.5.1 jar there, so try using the repository as outlined on
the "Developing" page, and then use the following in your project dependency
section:
  <groupId>ca.uhn.hapi</groupId>
  <artifactId>hapi</artifactId>
  <version>0.5.1</version>
