I've looked at
http://hl7api.sourceforge.net/xref/ca/uhn/hl7v2/examples/HandlingMultipleVersions.html
for converting message formats to certain model instances. Specifically using
CanonicalModelClassFactory mcf = new CanonicalModelClassFactory("2.5.1");
However, when I write the message back out using Parser.encode() it remains in
the original 2.2 form. Is there a way to "translate" the source file into
v2.5.1 compatible file? I can set the MSH 12 id to 2.5.1 manually but that
seems like a "brute force" approach. Is there a better way?
