Hi Raphaelle,

Officially, the right way to do this is to either use XTN 5,6,7 and 8 to
split the phone number into its component parts, or to use XTN-12
(Unformatted Telephone Number) if you can't. ( Reference:
http://hapi-xref.appspot.com/#V26_DT_XTN )

In the real world however, it's fairly common for people to just use XTN-1,
for better or worse.
