Sigh... everyone and their windows advice... "REFORMAT! REFORMAT!"
First, get windows 2000. not XP, not 98, not ME. Second, CONTRARY TO POPULAR BELIEF, you DONT need to wipe your whole HD. Just kill off the "Windows" folder, and re-install.
