Well, the model on screen doesn't take up the whole screen, so it would
be more like a second view port that shows up only at the model
selection screen.

well if you look on the dc site, u will see that all maps need a black
box,
i assume they draw the vgui, take the camera to the box, and then just
put a
clientside model into the box which changes when the user presses the
buttons, it being "on" the vgui is just an illusion, your just like very
close to it
