I was having WON problems all last week and this weekend, but yesterday I had none. Steam was running OK for Steam... Steam seems to take FOREVER to connect to servers and load maps. I did the Training thing that comes with Steam and even locally map changes took MINUTES!!! Steam performance- wise is much worse than CS 1.5 ATM. It seems to hang at 100% for up to 2-3 minutes when connecting to servers, I don't know if it's looping waiting for auth or what but its very annoying to use... :-/ -Stan > -iggy > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Jeff Fearn" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Sent: Wednesday, October 09, 2002 2:10 AM > Subject: Re: [hlcoders] RE: Palladium > > > >>>>The Palladium is public by Microsoft however MS employees decided it > > would > >>>>be fun to release other details such as the "trusted code" part which >>> >>>means >>> >>>>microsoft checks anythign and everything before its runtime, this > > infact > >>>>won't be practical and... >>> >>>Sounds like Steam to me :^) >> >>lol, well there are a few ex MS employees at Valve...maybe Steam is > > another MS > >>plot to take over the world!
