Forgot to mention: Partial fix: make your liblist.gam file read-only.
What I'd like to know is whether this is a bug or some kind of security measure?
If it is a security measure, then why not extract the entire default file from the gcache file instead of trying to modify just a few entries and ending up with partial bits of entries and/or duplicate ones.
