This is a multi-part message in MIME format. -- [ Picked text/plain from multipart/alternative ] I had added a scope sway system for Firearms last release, and now people are bitching about how the sway 'jerks' around when you change stances (due to the values changing abruptly). This system was based off the concussion effect code from TFC. I know TFC had a gradual change in the sway as the effect wore off, I need to do the same thing essentially. Except the value can go in both directions (increase or decrease), not just decrease like in TFC. I'm having one helluva time figuring out the math for this.
My guess would be that I'd have to find the change between the desired sway and the current sway then take a fixed rate of change, multiply that by the frametime and then add(?) that into the current sway value?
