I've seen conversations of late regarding server protocols, master query,
etc.

We've been running our own server/player/map search for some time, slowly
improving on it. We've done some RSS/XML feed work (and CSV formatted) as
well. We'd be willing to work towards any specific exporting customization
if anyone wants to contact me about it. We are always looking for ways to
improve it!

Right now it's

1.6 only : We are re-integrating 1.5 back into it shortly, based on popular
request.
CS only: Again, we can DO other mods, just the interest doesn't seem to be
there!
Completely refreshed database every 8 minutes. Working on getting that
down to 5 minutes

We have map search
We have server search
We have player search

where are the specs?

We also have some interesting stats like most popular maps, server sizes,
etc

It's a simple site, pretty fast search and yes - a spoof on google.

p.s. : We also collect a buttload of data that we haven't made use of yet. It's a 2x 2.0ghz box with 4gb ram attached to a 140Gb mirrored ata disks. We have about 70GB of data stored.. and well.. while we need to improve the indexes, it /could/ be useful data. Ideas?

Ok, extend the graphic over a lunar calendar, and show us the result. Is the full moon affect the activity on Counter-strike servers? Humans where more active these days? ... that is a scientific interesting result. Other interesting data, is the bandwitht consume by no of users. That can be valuable for server hosting. How much bw is need for a 16 players server? How much is need for a 64 players server? ...bah.. you can extract that info from demos, I suspect.

Anyway I am more interested in netcode specs, than hosting games info
(but most people in this list looks like interested in "metamos" and
related stuff, so...)
