Two questions:

First, is there a way to re-enable 'fopen()'? I am trying to generate a
log file for testing purposes and it seems that someone thought it would
be funny to disable key functions of the stdio library. Very annoying.
I'd rather not deal with the Valve file system as it is klunky and gross
overkill for simple logging.

Second, I tried switching the default player model in the SDK to the
female03 model in basic HL2. It seems to work, but I do get an Assert
that the animation sequence 'WALK_LOWER' is not found. I'm assuming that
the new animations no longer seperate the lower and upper animation
sequences like HL1 did -- at least that appears to be the case from
viewing the sequences with the model viewer. Can someone confirm this?
If so, it looks like mod authors have a lot of work ahead of them to
rewrite the player animation routines to accept this new method.

Thanks.
