Yes I got this error too, I got this error when I open Hammer or testing
MOD. But after I change DirectX from debug mode to retail mode. All error
was gone. I`m not sure why. But It work for now.

I've done it but the exception occurs in the hl2.exe file ! And VS can only
open hex assembly code...

The error is (translated in english by myself): [TITLE: MyModName: hl2.exe

application error] The instruction at "0x2455f4c5" use memory address
"0x01a4facc". The momory cannot be "read". Click on OK to terminate the
programm.

Does anyone already get this error ?
