Using it on a dedicated server is an error and could cause a crash at
any point in time. Right now it happens to work because the win32
dedicated server contains both client and server code (whereas the linux
dedicated server is server code only).

Thanks for the response. I have to admit I'm getting a little frustrated
by these answers. That being said, I really do appreciate your feedback.

Whether Valve intended it or not (or it's well-known or not), 'setinfo'
is not merely client-side. It works 100% on Windows dedicated servers.

Why doesn't it work on Linux dedicated servers?
