Hiya,

I don't know much about cpp, and next to nothing of the HLSDK, but I
will say this... In TFC you can toggle it so that you can mute people in
the scoreboard, so there is "some" way to do that. You have to hold
SHIFT and left-click a player's name to mute, then if you want to unmute
you do it again.

Couldnt you do much the same thing with the overview? Use a key combo
that enables the mouse to temp stop being used for movement and be used
as a selector for, menu items, either in hud or overview? CTRL click
SHIFT click, etc.

One thing to note though, in TFC, when you do that you tend to fire your
weapon after letting go of SHIFT, so it seems to still register the
+attack command that your mouse1 is usually bound to. Just a little bug
they never fixed, or couldnt, I dunno.

Again I dont know the code, and don't know enough about cpp to tell you
where to look, but just pointing out TFC has "something like" this
already with the scoreboard. For what it's worth ;-)

That's pretty impossible, if you think about it: if your mouse is
controlling your view, how can it also control the overview map?

There should be a way though if you toggle it fullscreen, which is I
think what you're after?
