There is a great mail list there which I'd suggest you also consider subscribing to. ALso there's a large conference in Washington DC at the end of this month - http://seriousgamessummit.com There are a LOT of people becoming interested in this field right now - and there is money and need of technical knowledge in game development. I'd encourage anyone looking for some real world game development experience to think about checking out this kind of application/game development. Feel free to email me off list about this.
