Robbie, Great, that's good news! Regarding those steps, yep, did all that and MUCH more. I did every test/trick I could find except adjusting the RAM timings because my Dell doesn't seem to have that in the BIOS. If you read the Steam forums you'll see that there's just a small percentage of us that can't get around the problem. I'm betting somewhere in the future there will be a Steam update that covers this so I'll just wait.
