Lets all calm down and stop acting like bickering children. The original poster must understand that it is VERY hard for us to offer general tips on compiling anything on linux dealing with the valve sdk. Plugins are especially difficult considering that only a few of us have even thought of making a plugin. We are all here to help each other I think.
Is there any error message that you got when you tried to compile your plugin? Can you post your configuration and gcc version?
