Debug does work, however you need ot run your mod with the run_mod.bat
file (Enables Debugging).
You can debug in Release, however oyu will need to load an mdmp file
everytime your mod crashes.
Game_****.sln is the Game_SDK.sln file. Everything*****.sln is the tools
(Map compilers), etc.

Hey
I just started up so I know what to do! I think...
As far as I know, all tutorials and people I've spoken with (very few) say that
the Debug mode does not work.
>From my experience, compiling with debug on first also screws with me when I
compile as release.
Game_HL2.sln is the same as Game_SDK.sln, I'm pretty sure. The Everything file
is...actually I don't know.
To switch between debug and release, look at the top most bar (below the file menu bar)
and find the green arrow, next to it is a dropdown box that should say "Debug
HL2" or HL2MP or whatever you choose.
If you followed the instructions on the Developer Wiki, "compiling with VS2005"
and did all the steps, it should, theoretically work, with liek 6 warnings (but no
errors, so it's playable).
I ditched Vs 2008, too.
Hope this helps a bit and clarifies. I'm quite sure the Game_SDK.sln he talks about is
whatever pops out of the "Create a Mod" option.
