Might be an idea to just make the mailing lists "authenticate" with steam login
only to join it/able to post or view that page to join the list, that will end
the spam.
I seriously doubt that anyone legit on any of the lists has no steam account.
Not to say that that must be linked, for some rather have another email address
for it then the one linked to their steam account, for a variety of reasons.
