Blah, seeing as how spam bots are starting to take over, I guess I better finally ask this question before the mailing list is assimilated by the spam borg.
We need a method to reset texture memory between map changes under the Goldsrc engine. If you change between two maps, and the texture names match up, even if the textures themselves are different, it retains the texture from the previous map. Somewhat contrived example yonder: http://www.rkszone.com/downloads/msc/maps/texturebug.jpg With over 70 maps in our mod, it gets to be a bit of a problem, after awhile. We also seem to be having some other, more mysterious texture bugs, that occur over time - we got to thinking flushing the texture memory may help mitigate those as well. Any assistance in pointing our coders in the right direction would be greatly appreciated. - Thothie
