Oh, forgot to mention, make sure "Map list" is disabled in your mod's server browser (the one that shows large thumbnail previews of servers). There seems to be a bug that prevents servers from showing up in that mode for the client.
On that note, I'd be thankful if anyone knows of a way to ship a mod with Map List disabled. It's enabled by default, and there doesn’t seem to be a way to change the setting through config files. The only potential issue with this is if you're using bots in your mod - there's a bug which does not update the player count on the server correctly when a bot leaves the game. I recall them telling me there's a fix for that, but I didn't need it at the time.
