Previously my 1.1.0.7 half-life client was running just peachy. I came
home and applied the update (11071108.exe) and now when I launch half-life
or any mod the screen displays 1.0.0.5 in the corner! WTF!!??
The version info on the hl.exe program shows 1.1.0.8 so the patch almost
worked. I cant run anything now and the only way I can see to fix it is
to download the full upgrade (possibly even have to re-install).
Erik, what the hell is up with this? Please tell me there is some file I
can delete that will let me attempt to run the 11071108.exe patch again.
The Counter-strike patch went flawlessly, the 11071108 patch went fine
until I tried to submit my system info to Valve for their survey. I think
Zone Alarm choked it to death, I had to kill the process, but the update
should have been finished, no?
