After some installation tweeks, it is running just fine.
Started with Win2k, HLDS 4.1.0.7 upgrade to 4.1.0.8, Adminmod 2.50e . . .
Here were my steps:
23:15PST: Jumped for joy when they announced the mirrors.
Found and downloaded full and upgrade from the listed mirrors and verified
the files.
Ran update.
0600PST: Watched intermittent people either connect with no problem or get
the overflow error.
Noticed that Adminmod was not running.
0900PST: Searched for correct CS1113.exe for 5 hrs while at work.
1400PST: Ran update.
Adminmod still not running.
1430PST: Searched and installed new Metamod.dll
This does squat! :(
1500PST: Find Adminmod 2.50.03 and install it.
Adminmod works. :)
Present time: Struggling with HDTV.exe on same box (auth error). .
.GRRRRR!!!!
Some Peeps still getting overflow error, most don't.
heh, wish some peeps would getta clue that the ogl hacks dont work!
