I needed to test RAM on a couple of machines today, and since it is not in
the budget to buy a hardware simm tester w/attachments, I searched and
found an amazing offer from Simmtester.com . A FREE program called "Doc
Memory". You will need to make a bootable DOS floppy and copy the Doc
Memory files to it, as it will not run in Windows or NT, but it looks
pretty good. Years ago I worked at a PC VAR and we used one of their
hardware testers with good results, so you might want to give this free
software a try if you suspect RAM problems.
