I too have a Sb Live! Value card (from '98). I can't use the voice_tweak.exe
program at all (I am in W2k, and it seems to be a known issue, so I will
leave it at that). Funny thing is though, on one server I frequent, my voice
comes through just fine according to the people I play with, on another
though the regulars say it's hard to understand me.
Oh well, I don't use the voice comms much if at all anyways. Is there an
easy way to mute everyone client side though? I hate it when I am playing
and someone talks and lowers the sound of the game around me, so I end up
muting everyone. If I could just join a game knowing everyone will be muted
no matter what, I myself would be a happy camper :-)
Fear.
