Well, I think that I am ready for a thwacking. For the life of me I can
not get the voice to work. I thought I heard it work before I put the ATI
patch in, but now I can't get it running.

I have been out for a bit so went through all the archives I did not find
anything but a bunch of whiners. Did I miss something? I even went to
audioHQ and told the EAX controls to monitor HL.exe, no good. I also went
into the game properties tried all the combinations there under audio as far
as hardware support, no help. Yes I went to the controls to enable the
transmit, as well as the check box. I was wondering if there was a Cvar that
I was missing.
