Title: RE: [hlds] unban command
Well, when you ban someone in game... like in rcon using "banid" or "banip", the ban stays in HLDS memory until the server is restarted.  The bans will go away when the HLDS server is restarted UNLESS you do a "writeid" and/or "writeip" (depending on the type of bans) before you restart the server.  These are the only commands that will write the banned file.

While in console with rcon (or at the server window directly), you can get a list of bans by issueing either "listid" or "listip".

To remove a ban, use the "removeid" or "removeip" command.

These are hlds commands and have nothing to do with any addon like AdminMOD.  If you still don't know how to do this, then get something like ClanMOD (http://olo.counter-strike.pl/clanmod_en.htm) that will give you an in-game gui to manage your bans.  Either that or don't go banning....

I did a search for banned.cfg and was unable to locate it. Where does this file sit?

> I need to un ban someone...  how do you do it?

Edit the file banned.cfg, and just delete the line containing the player you want to un ban.  If deleting it leaves a blank line (carriage return), delete the blank line also.
