But i don't experience server crashing during the earlier release of hlds. beside, static routing is handled by win2k automatically.(correct me pls if i am mistaken coz i don't usually add static routing to my win2k server manually.)  One other thing "route print" displayed what John asked me to "route add."  Well anyway i will dig deep into the problem.  Thanks John. Server specs was: p3 733/128mb rdram 9.1 scsi hdd, intel pro/100+ nic.   i execute hlds.exe with -nomaster and +sv_lan 1 options, hlds is stable, but once the server(running win2k svr) connects to the internet through dial-up connection, hlds would unpredictably crash.  Sometimes the players connected to it would simultaneously freeze(at least 3 of them).
