And one of their biggest marketing and lamest upgrade?  WinME.  Basically,
they got all these Windows9x users to pay them money to upgrade to an
unstable version of Windows that basically really only offered them more
driver support a few enhancements in the multimedia arena and it included
the latest media player which everyone can dl for free from Microsoft's
website anyway.

Why was that done?  M$ for some reason, wanted an infusion of cash I guess.
It was the most upsetting upgrade in their history. Many people have gone
back down to Windows98 se2.

I'd have to agree with Stan.  I too used to be a die hard Microsoft
supporter.  Well, I'm pretty much done with paying for problems and then
again for technical support to help fix the problems.  You have to hand it
to them though, they really know how to make $$.
