Hello everyone,
I've been running a small server from my house since this past August, I
guess I just like to tinker with things and I thought it would be nice way
to give back to the CS community too. I've been on this list for a couple of
months now and I've learned a lot from all of you and I'd like to thank
Quicksilver, Sharza, Mogely, Rob Harwood, and numerous others for sharing
your knowledge with everyone on the list. I appreciate the time you give
back to the HLDS server community.

But enough of my sucking up, on to my questions.
I've been tinkering with HLTV on my server, I've got it set up and connected
to it, it works great except for two things. I've RTFM and looked on the
steam forums and haven't found a solution to either of them, maybe I didn't
look in the right place or search for the right term.

1. I'd like to hide the HLTV connection to the server, it always shows up as
a spectator, it's set to use the player name Cujo. I would like to be able
to look into my server without anyone noticing someone is there as some
people clean up their act when they see me coming in. I've also noticed that
an admin can kick the player that is the HLTV connection even though it
automatically comes right back.

2. The HLTV voice is way too fast and I can't understand anything the
players are saying, alltalk is on. I've connected to other HLTV servers and
the voice is fine. The server variables I use for speech are; sv_voicecodec
voice_speex and sv_voicequality 2.

I'm sure there is probably a command line that I need to change/add in the
hltv.cfg or server.cfg file but I haven't found it yet.

Oh just one more question. When will the banner.gif be working for the
sv_downloadurl? I've got mine in the right place and it still doesn't show
up, cstrike/addons directory and on the webserver in that directory too.

Thanks for your time
Richard aka Wrench
