We have identified the cause of the lag and have created a fix for it. Updated game dlls will be released via Steam next week. In the meantime we have a hotfix available, the updated game dlls can be downloaded from: http://www.steampowered.com/drop/06232004_cstrike_gamedlls.zip Unzip this file into the cstrike/dlls directory.
